Yep…i totally agree. Creepy thing was that I was about to comment on that right now until I read your comment. That would really be good if they were to minimize the videos and let the videos last longer. They should also put parts to their videos. Like “How to make a scrapbook Part 1″ “How to make a scrapbook Part 2″ and etc. sorry for the long comment. Ok lemme stop before it gets even longer!!

Thank you! I’m really into photography and wanted a way for my photos together, for me to look back on. So I got the idea of scrapbooking. I want to make one of my pet pictures, then maybe make some for my family. =)

Doing it digitally on your computer is 1,000 times prettier and faster and better.

Film is developed using chemicals – digital images are merely ink printed on paper. This ink fades over time. The paper it is printed on will make a difference too!

Why is that? If you send them to the developers what is the difference between an image produced and printed from film and an image printed from a digital file. I don’t understand, do they use different inks and papers in the shop for film and digital images?

She’s not just making that rule up. That’s been a design principle for a long, long time. Designers from every city I’ve worked in all over the country say the same thing. Perhaps designers can break the rule to be “edgy,” but that’s the tradition, in any case.

how do I add pages to a post bound scrap book?
I know I can unscrew it, but how do I do that exactly? I’ve tried the screw driver, but for some reason, it won’t work.

I agree. I enjoy scrapbooking more when it’s with a group of gals. In fact, I even started a scrapbook group just for that purpose. My posting below in response to some of comments having to do with the purpose of scrapbooking. We don’t need to scrapbook with archival safe anything anymore, unless you’re working with old photographs or photos that you don’t have negatives for, that is…

It s a social event. A get together, chat share ideas..I have done some pages on line as well. So dont knock the old way, not everyone has computers and digital cameras especially when you are dealing with old family pics.

Come on people – before digital cameras, creating scrapbook pages were for archival purposes and preserving memories. Scrapbooking today is simply for creative purposes. With online blogging, Flickr and email, photo albums are no longer the only way or even the most common way to preserve your family pictures or stories. In fact, unless you are still using film, your digital photographs won’t last generations they’ll barely last 20 years. So lighten up with the “future generation” stuff!
